Instructions for Motorhome Park Users

Reservations can be made online, which is recommended for international guests. You have English and Swedish as optional languages. The mobile app works only in Finnish. Thanks to the updated payment system, payments can now be made using multiple methods, including online banking credentials, credit/debit cards, and MobilePay.

Reservations and payments can also be made via the Motorhome Park website or through the mobile app maintained by Matkaparkki.com Oy. The app is available on both Google Play and the App Store but works only in Finnish. If needed, reservations can also be made by calling the customer service number shown on the information board at the site (see image below).

The overnight stay fee is €11.

Rules and Regulations for the Area

Our site has a set of rules that apply to all individuals using the Kuhmoinen Motorhome Park area.

The municipality of Kuhmoinen is responsible for the maintenance of the area. Please note that no winter maintenance is provided.

The area is open to all users of recreational vehicles. The municipality of Kuhmoinen is not liable for any damage to motorhomes, towing vehicles, or accessories.

There are 7 designated parking spaces, each marked with number signs and paint markings. One electric post serves every two spots, with both users drawing electricity using their own extension cords. Please, park in a way that allows the other vehicle to easily access the power outlet.

When positioning your vehicle, a safety distance of 4 meters must be maintained between units.

Caravans / vehicles must always be movable. All vehicles in the area must be in roadworthy condition in accordance with traffic legislation.

There is one mixed waste bin in the area. Do not use the harbor's waste bins, as they are reserved for boaters.

We kindly ask that you take glass and metal waste to proper collection points, such as behind supermarket K-Market Kippari or the recycling point at supermarket S-Market.

Unnecessary driving in the area with mopeds, ATVs, or any battery-, electric- or motor-powered devices is prohibited for safety reasons.

Swimming in the Vellahti bay that borders the motorhome park is not allowed, and dogs must not swim there either.

Water points are located on the outer wall of the adjacent fire station, facing the lumber yard, as well as at K-Market Kuhmoinen and S-Market.

Urinating outside of designated areas is prohibited. A public outdoor toilet is available for motorhome users.

Pets must be always kept on a leash within the area. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Feeding wild animals is strictly forbidden.

Storage of personal belongings: The municipality of Kuhmoinen is not responsible for any items left in the area.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be considerate of your neighbors!

By following these rules and guidelines, we can make the area more pleasant for everyone.
