Kuhmoinen Motorhome Parking Area (Matkaparkki)

The motorhome parking area is located near the harbor in the center of Kuhmoinen yet peacefully tucked away behind the fire station. More information for users, including payment instructions, can be found here: Instructions and Payments. 

This parking area is intended for short-term accommodation. It is ideal for overnight stays for those enjoying the natural attractions and outdoor activities in the Kuhmoinen area.

There are seven spaces available, each equipped with an electric hook-up. A new freshwater tap has been installed at the motorhome area. This water point is for customer use only and can be found on the fire station’s wall, facing the lumber yard, roughly in the middle of the building. Other public water points are available at K-Market Kippari and S-Market. There is an outdoor toilet on site. Nearby, you’ll also find the Gasthaus Sahanranta restaurant. Shops, additional restaurants, and services are all within walking distance in the center of Kuhmoinen.

Please note: There is no winter maintenance in the motorhome parking area.

The distance to Isojärvi National Park is only 17 kilometers, and to the historic Linnavuori Hill about 7 kilometers. Both destinations are easily accessible by bike or car.

The starting point of the Kuhmoisten Kuhmurat mountain biking trail network is located right at the edge of the area, making the parking site an excellent base for mountain biking enthusiasts. By staying at our motorhome area, you can explore Kuhmoinen's trails at your own pace and without rushing.
